2012 Masters Leaderboard Update

It wasn't the best showing for Fred Couples and the five other golfers with ties to the Houston area in the opening round of the 2012 Masters. Couples, along with Ben Crenshaw, Ryan Palmer, Harrison Frazar, and Anders Hansen all find themselves on the wrong side of the leaderboard.

Couples currently sits +1 through the first 12 holes, five strokes behind leader Louis Oosthuizen, who finished the first round -4.

Palmer and Frazar finished the first round +3, while Crenshaw along with Hansen finished the first round +4.

Mark O'Meara, who resides in Houston, withdrew from the tournament because of a strained muscle in his rib cage.

The most famous golfer in the world, Tiger Woods, finished his first round at even par, four strokes behind Oosthuizen. Woods sat at -2 through the first 16 holes before bogeying both 17 and 18.
