The Houston Astros face off against the Pittsburgh Pirates again on Saturday night, as the Astros look for their second straight win -- and to inch closer to .500 on the season.
J.A. Happ will start for Houston, and has a tough act to follow. Bud Norris pitched like an All-Star on Friday, pitching six shutout innings, allowing just three hits and walking none while striking out eight en route to the win.
Happ so far on the young season is the owner of a 2-2 record and 5.24 ERA. Happ's secondary numbers match the ugly ERA, as he has a 1.57 WHIP, and opponents are hitting .279 off of him. Happ has struggled with his command this year, issuing 16 walks in 34.1 innings.
Charlie Morton will start for the Pirates. Morton takes a 1-3 record, 4.61 ERA, 1.46 WHIP and .288 BAA into Saturday night's contest. Morton is coming off of back-to-back losses and has allowed nine earned runs over 10.1 innings in his last two starts.
Televised coverage can be found on Fox Sports Houston. First pitch is scheduled for 6:05 p.m. CT.
