Texas A&M Vs. Oklahoma State Baseball: Aggies Defeat Cowboys 8-7

Texas A&M earned their second straight victory over Oklahoma State by winning 8-7 on Friday night. The Aggies offense was on a roll as they scored a pair of runs in the first two innings and the game started to look like a blowout as Texas A&M led 6-1 heading into the bottom of the sixth inning.

Texas A&M starting pitcher Ross Stripling was having a good night but in the bottom of the sixth inning he allowed Oklahoma State to score five runs and tie the game at six runs apiece. There were no big plays for Oklahoma State but their batters just chipped away against Sterling with five hits and five runs to tie the game heading into the top of the seventh.

Texas A&M responded in the top of the eighth inning with two runs to go up for good when Tyler Naquin hit an RBI triple and then he scored on a wild pitch.

Oklahoma State made one final push by scoring a run in the bottom of the ninth, but Kyle Martin tightened up his pitching game and got the final two outs to earn the save and give Texas A&M the 8-7 win.
