Astros Vs. Rangers Final Score: Texas Beats Houston 4-1

In the first game of interleague play the Houston Astros offense continued to struggle offensively in their 4-1 loss to rival Texas Rangers. The lone run for the Astros came in the bottom of the third inning when Jed Lowrie reached first base on an infield single which knocked in Jose Altuve. On the night the Astros only managed four hits.

Astros starting pitcher Wandy Rodriguez had little help in the game as he only gave up three runs and 10 hits through six innings, but once again the offense was nowhere to be found.

The Rangers offense was led by Adrian Beltre who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, two runs plus he had a home run for good measure in the top of the seventh inning.
