2012 NCAA Baseball Regional Projections: LSU, Rice, Texas A&M Expected To Host, Sam Houston State Plays At Baylor

The latest NCAA baseball regional projections have LSU, Rice and Texas A&M as hosts of four-team regionals, while the Sam Houston State Bearkats would play at Baylor.

In the LSU regional, Texas, Saint Louis, and Tulane will be pitted against each other.

Rice would host Clemson, Oral Roberts and Southeastern Louisiana. The Aggies would host Arkansas, Valparaiso and Dallas Baptist. Sam Houston would compete against Baylor, TCU and Prairie View A&M.

LSU, Rice, Sam Houston and Baylor all have automatic bids after winning their respective conference regular season titles. Sam Houston is the only team that isn't the favorite to win its region, because of the Bears standing in the way. But Rice, LSU and Texas A&M are all expected to win their respective regions, barring upsets of epic proportions.
