2012 Southland Conference Baseball Tournament: Sam Houston State Facing Elimination

The second day of the 2012 Southland Conference tournament starts off early Thursday morning and since Sam Houston State was upset by No. 8 seed Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Wednesday they are in the early game on Thursday.

Sam Houston State is facing No. 5 seeded McNeese State in an elimination game. This game is very important for Sam Houston State if they want to have a shot at making the NCAA Tournament. Sam Houston State went 2-1 against McNeese State this season.

Below is Thursday's schedule all games can be streamed for free on SLC NOW (all times Central):

  • Game 5: No. 1 Sam Houston State vs. No. 5 McNeese State, 9 a.m.
  • Game 6: No. 6 Stephen F. Austin vs. No. 7 Central Arkansas 12 p.m.
  • Game 7: No. 4 UT Arlington vs. No. 8 Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, 4 p.m.
  • Game 8: No. 2 Southeastern Louisiana vs. No. 3 Texas State, 7 p.m.
