Dario Franchitti earned his third victory at the 2012 Indy 500 after a late crash by Takuma Sato on the final lap which cost hims the race. SB Nation's Jeff Gluck was at the Brickyard, and here's his instant analysis:
Gluck discusses about the exciting finish to the race as well as Franchitti's close relationship he had with the late Dan Wheldon, who was celebrated today at the track.
Franchitti won the race under caution and It is still unclear whether or not Franchitti was responsible for Sato's wreck. Of course both Franchitti and Sato disagrees over who caused the wreck on the final lap.
However, that does not matter as Franchitti was drinking the milk in the winners circle celebrating his third Indy 500 victory.
