LSU Vs. Ole Miss Baseball Update: Tigers And Runnin Rebels Tied 3-3 In Extra Innings

The LSU Tigers and Ole Miss Runnin Rebels are playing a good one out at Swayze Field with the two SEC juggernauts tied at 3-3 in extra innings of the first game of this weekend series. LSU drew first blood, scoring runs in the second and third inning, starting with a solo home run by Tyler Moore in the second, then an RBI by Raph Rhymes in the third.

For Ole Miss, Tanner Mathis batted in Auston Bousfield for their first run of the game in the sixth inning. The Runnin Rebels kept on coming. In the seventh inning, Matt Snyder hit a solo shot of his own to tie the game up at two runs apiece. Then later in the inning, Bousfield flied out to center field, but brought in a run to take the lead for Ole Miss.

LSU came back and tied it all up in the eighth inning and the two clubs are still battling it out. The Tigers have nine hits, while the Runnin Rebels have eighth.
