It took 12 innings to do it, but the Miami Marlins emerged victorious over the Houston Astros on the road and took the season series with a 5-3 victory.
After an impressive ninth inning rally by the Astros to tie the game up, they just weren't able to generate anymore offense to come away with the victory at Minute Maid Park
The Marlins Omar Infante singled to center field and drove in Logan Morrison and Greg Dobbs. Those two runs would prove to be enough for Miami and Houston drops a heartbreaker at home.
13 pitchers were used in the ball game but Ryan Webb picked up the win for Miami and David Carpenter took the loss for Houston.
