Series Record: TCU leads 6-4, Split two games opening weekend this season

For TCU:

The Horned Frogs won a share of the Mountain West regular season title, but went 1-2 in the conference tournament last week. They are led offensively by Jason Coats (.326 BA, 45 RBI) and Josh Elander (8 HR). The TCU pitching staff hasn't allowed more than 5 runs in a game since April 5. Morrison made his collegiate debut against the Rebels on opening weekend this season, throwing 3.1 perfect innings with two strikeouts.

For Ole Miss:

The Rebels have lost 6 of 7, including a 1-2 performance in the SEC Tournament. Pitching and defense has been their strong suit so far this season, with 8.5 strikeouts per innings and a .976 fielding percentage that is good for 20th in the country. Closer Brett Huber is one save away from the all-time saves record at Ole Miss. The Rebels are led on offense and defense by Junior second baseman and First Team All-American Alex Yarbrough, who is hitting .389 with only two errors on the season. Matt Snyder provides the power and RBIs with 12 and 57, respectively.
