2012 NCAA Baseball Tournament, Sam Houston State Vs. Arkansas Score Update: Bearkats Take Lead In Fifth Inning

Sam Houston State wasn't down for long against Arkansas, answering the Razorbacks two-run fourth inning with a four-run fifth inning to take a 4-2 lead at the Houston Regional of the NCAA baseball tournament.

Bearkats catcher John Hale started the inning with a single up the middle of the field, and second baseman Jessie Plumlee followed that up with another hit. An error on the Razorbacks helped the Bearkats advance on the base paths later in the inning, then when left fielder Luke Plucheck advanced on a fielder's choice, that also scored Plumlee.

Anthony Azar and Jake Arrington, Sam Houston's two best hitters during the season (when healthy), came through with back-to-back RBIs to give the Kats a little more momentum. Azar hit an RBI single to left field to score shortstop Corey Toups, while Arrington's triple brought in Azar and Plucheck.
