2012 U.S. Open Odds: Tiger Woods The Favorite

Despite no longer being the top-ranked golfer the world, golf superstar and legend Tiger Woods is favored to win the 2012 U.S. Open this weekend in San Francisco, California.

Along with Woods, oddsmakers like Rory McIlroy, Lee Westwood and Luke Donald to win the event. Here are the favorites for the tournament.

  • Tiger Woods, 6/1
  • Rory McIlroy, 8/1
  • Lee Westwood, 14/1
  • Luke Donald, 14/1
  • Phil Mickelson, 18/1
  • Martin Kaymer, 22/1
  • Sergio Garcia, 25/1
Woods' fall from both the sports world and public grace has been well documented over the last couple of years. A win in a major tournament, even if favored, would likely help alleviate the pressure that Woods must be feeling ever since the story about his scandal came out.

We'll see if Woods can make good on his odds, or if another golfer steals the show this weekend.
