2012 NCAA Baseball Rice Regional, Saturday Preview: Owls One Victory Away From Championship Series

Day one of the 2012 NCAA Baseball Tournament is in the books, and Saturday the action continues at Reckling Park in Houston. The Rice Owls, the region's host and top seed, will try to move onto the championship series as they face the Arkansas Razorbacks at 6 p.m. CT. A victory moves Rice one victory away from moving onto the Super Regionals, while a loss to the Hogs would send them to the loser bracket to play the either Sam Houston St. and Prairie View, who play at 1 p.m. CT.

On Friday, the Owls (41-17) edged Prairie View, 3-2, while the Arkansas defeated Sam Houston St. 5-4 to advance in the winners' bracket.
