Dallas Keuchel will make his second career start on Saturday, as the Houston Astros continue a three-game series against the Cleveland Indians.
Keuchel's first start came last Sunday against the Texas Rangers. In that start, Keuchel lasted five innings, giving up just one run -- but he did walk four batters and surrender four hits.
Keuchel will need Houston's bats to come alive if he's to record his first win in the bigs. The Astros have scored just one run in their last three games. Houston was shutout on Friday night by the Indians in a 2-0 loss. Ubaldo Jimenez and three Cleveland relievers combined on the shutout Friday night, as the Astros could only muster up four hits.
On Saturday, the Indians will send Jeanmar Gomez to the mound. Gomez carries a 4-6 record with a 4.95 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and .264 BAA.
First pitch is schedule for 3:05 p.m. CT from Minute Maid Park. Televised coverage can be found on FOX Sports Houston.
