Astros Vs. Indians Final Score: Houston Offense Comes Alive, Win 8-1

The offense came alive as the Houston Astros as they defeated the A.L. Central leading Cleveland Indians 8-1. The Astros had a big fifth inning where they scored four runs and which were fueled by back-to-back home runs by J.D. Martinez and Jordan Schafer. That is all the offense the Astros needing to get the win, but they were not done and added another three runs in the bottom of the eighth inning.

Others who came up big for the Astros offense was Carlos Lee who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run; then Chris Johnson who had an identical state line to Lee.

The Astros also received a surprise start from Dallas Keuchel who pitched a complete game and allowed only six hits and just one run. This was Keuchel's first win in only his second career Major League start.
