Wimbledon Scores And Results: Andy Roddick Ousted

Andy Roddick is gone once again from the All England Club. Wimbledon will bid Roddick adieu after he lost in four sets to David Ferrer, 2-6, 7-6 (10-8), 6-4, 6-3.

The 30th-seeded Roddick looked good in his opening set, firing almost every shot imaginable past Ferrer. However, Ferrer took care of business in an epic second set in which he won the tiebreak, before easily dispatching Roddick in the final two sets.

In other news around Wimbledon:

American native Mardy Fish made quick work of 21-year-old David Goffin in straight sets, despite needing two tiebreaks (6-3, 7-6 (8-6), 7-6 (8-6). The No. 5 seed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga defeated the Slovenian Lukas Lacko quite comfortably to move on (6-3, 6-4, 6-4).

On the women's side, Serena Williams kept things moving along after a very tough set against No. 25 Jie Zhang. Williams had to gut out a victory but got the job done, 6-7 (5-7), 6-2, 9-7.
