The Houston Astros had been discussing a trade with the Los Angeles Dodgers that would have sent Carlos Lee west. However, ESPN's Buster Olney is reporting that Lee has not changed his mind and isn't likely to waive his no-trade clause which will effectively kill the proposed deal.
As of now, sources say Carlos Lee hadn't changed his mind from Sat. and won't agree to deal. Source: "It's probably not going to work out."

While the Dodgers offered Lee a chance to step into a competitive situation he is very comfortable in Houston and is in no hurry to leave no matter how far out of the race Houston is. The Dodgers were looking to add a bat after an injury has sidelined slugger Matt Kemp.
