MLB Trade Rumors: Dodgers Decide To No Longer Pursue Astros Carlos Lee

The Los Angeles Dodgers have officially pulled out of trying to acquire the Astros first baseman Carlos Lee, according to Fox Sports Ken Rosenthal. The Dodgers have been trying to acquire Lee over the past few days, but Lee has a limited no-trade clause which includes the Dodgers.

Lee went back-and-forth saying that he would no lift his no-trade clause, and he also said that he would consider going to the Dodgers. The Dodgers likely just got tired of trying to work out a way to acquire Lee which is the likely reason they decided to move on.

The Astros can still try to trade Lee since there are 15 teams that do not acquire Lee's approval.
