2012 British Open Odds: Tiger Woods The Heavy Favorite

As expected, Tiger Woods is the odds-on favorite to win the 2012 British Open. Woods, who hasn't captured a major title this year, has been given 4/1 odds to win the British Open, which begins on Thursday.

If you'd like to bet against Tiger, well, taking the field isn't the smartest bet. The entire field has been given 7/1 odds.

Phil Mickleson, who has struggled this year in major tournaments, has been given 40/1 odds to win the British Open. Rory McIlroy has the second-best odds to win the tournament, at 10/1. Luke Donald and Lee Westwood are both at 15/1.

Local product Justin Leonard has the third-worst odds to win the British Open, coming in with 250/1 odds. Only Tom Watson (300/1) and David Duval (500/1) have worse odds.
