2012 British Open Leaderboard: Brandt Snedeker Still Leads

It didn't take very long for Adam Scott's course record score of 64 on Thursday at Royal Lytham and St. Anne's to have some company.

Brandt Snedeker moved his name into the record book alongside Scott's with his own round on Friday, shooting an incredible 64. Snedeker now has the lead all to himself in the 2012 British Open with a score of 10-under.

Scott is in second place just one shot back from reclaiming the top spot while the legendary Tiger Woods continues to let his presence be known, with a 6-under for the tournament.

American Matt Kuchar got himself into the thick of things with a great second round, shooting a 67 to move into a tie for fourth at 4-under par. Jason Dufner climbed 33 spots and now is tied with Kuchar and others, also with a total of 4-under. Dufner is still on the course, currently on the 17th hole.

On the flip side of things, Rory McIlroy had a disastrous day in England, shooting a 75 and moving down the ranks with a 2-over for the week. The youngster is currently tied for 52nd.
