Houston Astros vs. Pittsburgh Pirates: Sunday Preview, TV Schedule And More

The Houston Astros will try to avoid being swept by the Pittsburgh Pirates as the two teams finish up a four-game series Sunday afternoon at Minute Maid Park.

Lucas Harrell (7-7, 4.07 ERA) will be on the mound for the Astros, who will be looking to continue his recent run of form. Harrell has given up one earned run or less in five of his last six starts, but has gone only 1-1 over that stretch. Harrell was excellent in his last start against the Cincinnati Reds, giving up only seven hits and one run in seven innings of work.

Pittsburgh will counter with James McDonald (10-4, 3.15 ERA), who had gone over a bit of a rough stretch over his last three starts. McDonald has given up at least four earned runs in those starts, including his last outing against the Chicago Cubs. McDonald gave up five hits and five runs in six innings in the Pirates 5-1 loss to the Cubs on July 24.
