The Houston Astros held the Milwaukee Brewers scoreless through the first six innings of Monday's matchup on the road at Miller Park. But the Brewers put up eight total runs in the bottom of the seventh and eighth innings to steal the game despite a furious comeback from Houston who put three runs on the board in the top of the ninth inning.
It was a wasted night at the plate for outfielder Steve Pearce who registered three RBI's in the game.
Bud Norris got the start on the mound and pitched six complete innings and gave up four hits and three earned runs, but it was Francisco Cordero who was credited with the loss after giving up four hits and two earned runs in his one inning of work.
