London Olympics Medal Count: United States And China Still Tied For Overall Medals

After Tuesday's events at the Olympic Games in London, the score atop the medal leader board remains tied between the United States and China at 23 medals each, with the Chinese boasting a 13-9 advantage in gold medals over the Americans. Rounding out the top five is Japan, with 13 total medals, France (11 total) and South Korea (nine).

Houstonian Liezel Huber had a solid day as well, as she and partner Lisa Raymond, the United States' top seeded womens tennis doubles team, advanced to the second round of the women's Olympic double with a straight-sets victory (6-4, 7-3) over Polish sisters Agnieszka and Ursula Radwanska. Next up for Raymond and Huber will be either Germany or Slovakia.
