2012 PGA Championships Leaderboard: Tiger Woods, Vijay Singh, Carl Pettersson Tied At 4-Under

After the second round of the 2012 PGA Championship there is a three-way tie at the top of the leaderboard with some big names. Tiger Woods, Vijay Singh and Carl Pettersson are all tied for first place at 4-under par.

Of those three, Singh made the biggest jump by shooting a 3-under par round of 69. His front nine was excellent by connecting on three birdies on the first, third and seventh holes. The back nine is where Singh got a little shaky by bogeying the 10th and 14th holes, but he birdied the 13th and 16th holes.

Woods moved up to be in a tie for first by shooting a 1-under 71, and in his second round he started off hot by birding his second and fourth holes to have a 1-under par through the first nine. During his final nine holes Woods shot an even par which included a birdie on No. 12 and a bogey on No. 18.

As for Pettersson. he had a rough day and the worse than Woods and Singh by shooting a 2-over par. His round starting well by birding the first two holes, but he had a rough stretch between hole Nos. 6 through 12 where he bogeyed five of those seven holes. If not for a strong first round, Pettersson would not be in contention.
