Texans Vs. Panthers Preview: TV Time, Game Schedule And More

The Houston Texans will open up their 2012 preseason schedule in Charlotte as they face Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers on Saturday night.

The Houston Texans will begin their matriculation of their 2012 campaign as the preseason officially kicks off for the reigning AFC South champions as they take their talents to Charlotte to face the Carolina Panthers. Texans fans, get your popcorn ready.

The Texans will get the chance to get acquainted with the 2011 Rookie of the Year Cam Newton and the Panthers offense, as Houston's re-tooled defense will try to build on last season's top-ranked unit.

Matt Schaub will also take his first official snaps for the Texans offense, and the trio of Schaub, Arian Foster and Andre Johnson try and prove that they are the new Big Three in football.
