In the Houston Texans are taking part in their first preseason game of the 2012 NFL season when they travel to take on the Carolina Panthers. However, the Texans will be missing eight players on Saturday night.
The most notable players out are wide receiver Andre Johnson who is being held out for precautionary reasons due to a groin injury he suffered earlier in camp, and also linebacker Brian Cushing who is out due to a virus that caused him to spend two nights in the hospital. Replacing Cushing in the lineup will be Mister Alexander, and with Johnson out it will allow other wide receivers to step up.
