The Houston Texans and Carolina Panthers are all knotted up at 13 points apiece at the half. Wide receiver Trindon Holliday got the Texans first touchdown when he returned a kickoff for 90 yards. Holilday is having an impressive first half so far as he has the touchdown, but also has three kick of returns for 159 yards and a pair of punts for 20 total yards.
The Panthers were able to tie the game with a touchdown of their own at the end of the half on an eight-play 83 yard drive which was capped off with a 1-yard touchdown run by Tauren Poole.
The first team offense for the Texans did not play well in their two series as running back Arian Foster fumbled the ball on his first carry of the game, and then Matt Schaub threw a pass that was intended for Kevin Walters but it was intercepted by Jason Phillips. In Schaub's time in the game he went 3-for-6 for 52 yards.
