Olympics Closing Ceremony: TV Coverage, Streaming, Live Updates And More

The events are completed, the gold medals have been handed out and now it is time to wrap up the 2012 London Olympics. The games will come to a close Sunday with the Closing Ceremony.

The Closing Ceremony will be a star studded event with more than 4,100 performers, including some of Great Britain's most recognizable celebrities. There will be a number of musical performances including performances by The Who, Coldplay and the Spice Girls.

After 16 days of competition and more than 300 events, the Closing Ceremony will conclude the Olympics with London handing the Olympic flag over to Rio, who will host the 2016 Olympics. The final act of the 2012 Olympics will be the extinguishing of the Olympic flame.

The Closing Ceremony is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. ET and can be watched live at NBCOlympics.com. It will also air in primetime on NBC beginning at 7 p.m.
