Texans Lose DT Ra'Shon Harris For 2012 Season

Houston Texans defensive tackle Ra'Shon Harris will miss the entire 2012 season after suffering a torn triceps on Tuesday, according to the Associated Press.

Harris is just one of several defensive linemen who have battled injuries during camp, as defensive end J.J. Watt has a dislocated elbow and defensive tackle Shaun Cody is dealing with back soreness.

Harris, 25, has appeared in just two NFL games, both coming in 2009 while he was with the Carolina Panthers. Harris was drafted out of Oregon in the sixth round of the NFL Draft that year by the Pittsburgh Steelers, and made his way to Charlotte after being cut. The Texans signed Harris as a free agent in January of 2012.

Houston will play their third preseason game on Saturday, Aug. 25 against the New Orleans Saints.
