2012 Barclays: Padraig Harrington Still In Lead As First Day Draws To A Close

Day one of The Barclays is quickly drawing to a close, and it looks very unlikely that anyone is going to be catching Irishman Padraig Harrington before the end of the night. Harrington put together a great game in the first day, ending at 7-under. Nick Watney and Brian Harmon are both close behind, having shot 65s on the course for 6-under scores.

Texas native Bob Estas has not yet finished his first round of 18 holes but is currently stuck in an eight-way tie for 27th place on the leaderboard with a 2-under score. Many of the big names like Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Luke Donald are all stuck in a tie for 14th place with 3-under scores.

The round has still not been completed, but it's unlikely we'll see much of a shake up near the top with most of the bigger names already finished with their golfing.
