Texans Vs. Saints Score Update: Houston Tied With New Orleans 24-24 At The Half

The Houston Texans are tied with the New Orleans Saints 24-24 at halftime after both teams took advantage of several turnovers and late scoring in the second half.

Houston jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter when Schaub led the Texans down the field 80 yards on the opening possession of the game with Ben Tate scoring on a 1-yard touchdown. After a Saints fumble just four plays later, the Texans responded with a quick short drive capped by a Schaub touchdown pass to Keshawn Martin.

The Saints would not be pushed over, however, with Drew Brees hitting Lance Moore on a 20-yard pass and defensive end Junior Galette returning a Trindon Holliday fumble for a touchdown on the ensuing kickoff.

The Saints would briefly take a 17-14 lead off a Garrett Hartley field goal before Arian Foster and the Texans took the lead after another turnover by the Saints. The teams would exchange field goals, with the Saints tying the Texans when Drew Brees hit Jimmy Graham on an 8-yard pass with just 15 seconds remaining in the half.

Both quarterbacks have been sharp in the game, with Matt Schaub 15-of-18 for 194 yards and one touchdown and Drew Brees 17-of-25 for 179 yards and two touchdowns.
