The Texas A&M Aggies head into halftime leading the SMU Mustangs, 20-0, at Gerald Ford Stadium in Dallas.
Aggies quarterback Johnny Manziel has taken things into his own hands, providing the Aggies with all three their touchdowns.
First, it was a 29-yard touchdown pass from Manziel to Ryan Swope with 8:38 remaining in the half. Then Manziel followed his touchdown pass with a 48-yard touchdown scamper with 3:26 remaining in the half to make it 13-0. The extra point attempt was blocked.
And with just over a minute left in the half, Manziel connected with Uzoma Nwachukwu for a 26-yard touchdown to make it 20-0.
After a slow start on offense, Manziel has found his rhythm while putting up 212 yards on 13-of-26 passing and adding 82 yards rushing on 10 carries in the first half.
SMU has only managed to accumulate 109 total yards, including a paltry 30 yards on the ground on 12 carries.
