The Rice Owls are struggling against the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs 35-17 at the half. Bulldogs quarterback Colby Cameron has been burning the Owls by completing 12-of-16 passes for 200 yards, plus he has thrown three touchdowns.
Running back Tevin King has also been torching the Owls by rushing for 144 yards while Kenneth Dixon has 72 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Overall, Rice has given up 420 yards in just one half of play.
As for Rice, their offense has been held to just 221 yards, but their rushing offense has been their only bright spot on the night. Charles Ross has rushed for 84 yards and Taylor McHargue has 40 yards and a touchdown. Rice had a pair of drives stall when they fumbled the ball twice with one of those leading to seven Louisiana Tech points.
