College Football Rankings, Week 4: LSU Stays At No. 2 In BlogPoll

Stop me if you've heard this before: after a strong start to the 2012 season, LSU is looking up at only one team in the country in SB Nation's latest BlogPoll.

It appears that their annual SEC West Division game with Alabama is now the biggest game on the college football calendar, as the two rivals are No. 1 and No. 2, with the Crimson Tide at 24.99 points, the Tigers at 23.31 points and No. 3 Oregon all the way down at 21.27 points.

The SEC likes to pride itself as the top conference in the country, but the gap between those two schools and the rest of the conference is growing pretty wide itself.

Georgia and South Carolina are the only other SEC schools in the top 10, but neither has looked all that dominant in 2012.
