Jeremy Lin: New Rocket Happy To Be Home In Houston

Jeremy Lin was the big pick-up of the offseason for the Houston Rockets. After a solid first season in New York that saw the birth of 'Linsanity', the Rockets took the chance to scoop him up when the Knicks refused to re-sign him. He's spent the time since then trying to get used to the idea of being the star name of an up-and-coming squad and he's only now getting used to being a part of the Rockets.

For his part, Lin is still just happy to have a home on an NBA team:

"Every once in a while I’ll take a look back and just be like, "I can’t believe this is happening," Lin said. "I had one of those moments this morning, just sitting in the training room with the big Houston Rockets logo. I was appreciating the fact I get to wake up and play basketball for a living. Those are things I try to remind myself of every day."

Rockets fans will get to see just what Lin can do for the Rockets when the NBA season begins in mid-October.
