J.J. Watt Earns AFC Defensive Player Of The Week Award

Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt terrorized the Jacksonville Jaguars in his team's 27-7 win last Sunday. For his 1.5-sack, five-tackle (two for loss), two-knockdown and a fumble recovery performance, Watt was awarded the AFC Defensive Player of the Week honor on Wednesday. The second-year Wisconsin product had this to say about the recognition:

"It’s crazy. I was delivering pizzas four or five years ago, and now I get awards like this," Watt said. "It’s unbelievable to me. I’m honored to have the award, but it’s a lot cooler for everybody else that helped get me here."

Watt gets his first crack at perennial Texans nemesis Peyton Manning this Sunday in Reliant Stadium. He's already said that he wants to add Manning to his "sack list."
