Rice Vs. Marshall: Tied 41-41 At End Of Regulation

Rice Owls kicker Chris Boswell nailed a 23 yard field goal as time expired to tie the Marshall Thundering Herd at 41 apiece at the end of regulation.

Rice had trailed by 10 points with 4 minutes remaining after Marshall running back Remi Washington punched into the end zone on a two yard rush. Marshall's attempted 2-point conversion failed, and Rice took control. The Owls executed a 6-play, 61-yard scoring drive that took a mere 53 seconds off the clock. The drive was capped off by a stunning 43-yard rush by Owls quarterback Taylor McHargue.

After a defensive stop, the Owls struggled to put together a drive, managing only 23 yards on 21 plays, eventually settling for a field goal as time expired.
