The LSU Tigers' sloppy 38-22 victory over the FCS Towson Tigers allowed the Florida State Seminoles to jump LSU in the latest Associated Press Top 25 poll.
The Tigers now find themselves ranked fourth, behind the Alabama Crimson Tide, the Oregon Ducks and the Seminoles. SEC conference foes Georgia and South Carolina are ranked fifth and sixth this week, respectively.
Texas' come-from-behind victory on Saturday against the Oklahoma State Cowboys kept the Longhorns undefeated, and one spot higher in the week's rankings than last week at No. 11. The TCU Horned Frogs are No. 15 in this week's poll, and Baylor fell out of the Top 25 completely after a 70-63 defeat to West Virginia.
