2013 Cotton Bowl: Texas A&M vs. Oklahoma game preview, location, history and more

In what should be an exciting matchup between two 10-2 teams, the Texas A&M Aggies take on the Oklahoma Sooners in the 2013 Cotton Bowl Classic.

USA TODAY Sports

Johnny Manziel, winner of the 2012 Heisman Trophy, will lead the No. 9 Texas A&M Aggies against the No. 11 Oklahoma Sooners in what promises to be an exciting 2013 Cotton Bowl. Manziel, nicknamed Johnny Football, was the first freshman to win the Heisman after throwing 24 touchdowns and rushing for another 19, with well over 4000 yards of total offense. Manziel will attempt to cap his great freshman year with a bowl win.

While Manziel's star may shine brightest, both teams enter the game with 10-2 records. The matchup promises to be exciting.

The Sooners are led by quarterback Landry Jones, and will have star receiver Jalen Saunders on the field for the game. Saunders' status had been in question following a recent arrest for marijuana possession. His presence in the game is a boost the Sooner offense.
