'Stros Pound Nolasco, Win 9-2

Astros pitching finally came to life today.

J.A. Happ went five scoreless innings, but gave up four hits and four walks. Minus one tough inning for Welsey Wright, Astros pitchers seemed to be in control. Wilton Lopez and Enerio Del Rosario pitched two scoreless frames and gave up no walks or hits.

The Astros lit up Ricky Nolasco, who lasted just 2.1 innings and gave up seven runs on eight hits.

On the catching front, Humberto Quintero went 2-3, and J.R. Towles went 1-4. Quintero is now hitting .391 this spring, and Towles .357.

Wallace and Johnson each went 2-4 with an RBI; five other Astros managed to knock in runs as well.
