Timely, Clutch Hits Push Astros Past Brewers 9-6 In 10 Innings

Final Score: Houston 9, Milwaukee 6 (10 innings)

Milwaukee, WI (Sports Network) - Humberto Quintero's two-run, ground-rule double in the 10th inning lifted the Astros over the Brewers, 9-6, in the second of a three-game series.

Brandon Lyon (1-1) earned the win, despite blowing a save opportunity. He threw two innings and allowed one run on two hits and two walks while striking out one to give Houston its fifth win in the last nine games.

Sean Green (0-1) took the loss, allowing three runs on three hits and one walk in two-thirds of an inning, handing Milwaukee its second loss in the past three games.

It was an interesting night for Lyon, who blew another save, picked up the win, and hit an RBI double for an insurance run in the 10th. In Sunday's rubber game, Wandy Rodriguez will take the hill for Houston against former Astro Randy Wolf.
