Altuve singled in the fifth at bat of his debut yesterday, a game the Astros 3-2 in 11 innings. It was the first time since June 17th-18th that they have won back-to-back games. Altuve said of his debut:â†µ
"I was a little nervous in the beginning of the game, and then just went out to play," Altuve said. "It was pretty good, and I hit my first base hit in my fifth [at-bat] and was really happy about that."â†µ
Jeff Keppinger meanwhile got a standing ovation during his first and only at bat in his debut as a Giant.
