Jose Altuve Hopes To End The Astros Second Base Revolving Door

Zachary Levine tweeted that since Craig Biggio retired the Astros have played 17 different people at second base, from the start of the 2008 season.

Altuve singled in the fifth at bat of his debut yesterday, a game the Astros 3-2 in 11 innings. It was the first time since June 17th-18th that they have won back-to-back games. Altuve said of his debut

"I was a little nervous in the beginning of the game, and then just went out to play," Altuve said. "It was pretty good, and I hit my first base hit in my fifth [at-bat] and was really happy about that."

Jeff Keppinger meanwhile got a standing ovation during his first and only at bat in his debut as a Giant.
