You know the only reason I was disappointed with this story? My DVR guide only goes two weeks ahead of time, so I couldn't automatically set it up to record Baseball I.Q., which sounds like it'll be a very cool new game show on MLB Network. Here's the description:
↵↵↵Hosted by MLB Network's Matt Vasgersian, Baseball IQ is a recall-based trivia show featuring two participants, 30 minutes and a chance to win up to $45,000 for charity. Questions will cover all things baseball, from current players and managers to World Series champions, MVPs, Cy Young Award winners, Hall of Famers, milestones and more.
↵
Every team will be represented, with Houston sending ticket service representative Benjamin Coburn. Let's start rooting for Benjamin to win now, especially over the Cubs guy, who was a Corporate Representative...just sounds uptight, doesn't he?
↵Lots of statistical researchers in here too, because, well, stat nerds are absurdly good at trivia. If the showrunners have any sense of humor, they'll throw them a bunch of questions about Jack Morris, Jim Rice and grit. Don't you want to watch just to see if they do? I'm giddy already!
