Astros Vs Marlins Final Score: Houston Drops Game, Series 5-4 In 11 Innings

Hanley Ramirez's walk-off single in the bottom half of the 11th inning gave the Miami Marlins a win over the Houston Astros Sunday afternoon.

The Marlins struck first off of Houston starter J.A. Happ when Omar Infante hit his fourth home run of the season to take a 1-0 lead. The Astros answered back in the third inning when J.D. Martinez doubled home Happ to tie the game.

The Astros took the lead in the game in the fourth thanks to two RBI groundouts from catcher Jason Castro and Jose Altuve. An RBI groundout from Logan Morrison in the bottom half of the fourth made the score 3-2. Altuve delivered an insurance run for Houston in the eighth with an RBI Double.

However, the Astros couldn't hold the lead as Hanley Ramirez hit his second homer of the season to tie things up at 4-4. Houston worked out of a jam in the bottom of the tenth but Ramirez's single in the eleventh gave the Fish the victory.

J.A. Happ worked six innings allowing five hits and two earned runs to earn a no decision. David Carpenter takes the loss for the Astros after walking two and allowing three hits in the 11th. Chad Gaudin picks up the win for Miami after throwing three shut out innings while allowing two hits.
