In the 11th inning of the Houston Astros 5-4 loss to the Miami Marlins, Jordan Schafer's head collided with Jose Reyes' knee on a stolen base attempt. Schafer, who was out on the play, was forced to leave the game and is now listed as day-to-day, according to the Houston Chronicle.
Schafer said he felt dizzy after the game but did not have any concussion tests.
After Schafer left, Travis Buck entered the game for him and Brian Bogusevic shifted over to center field. Both Buck and Justin Maxwell figure to pick up playing time in Schafer's absence.
Before leaving the game, Schafer was 0-for-5. He is hitting .242 with one home run and two RBI for the season.
