Astros Vs. Brewers: Comeback Falls Short In 6-5 Loss

Opening up a six-game road trip, the Astros couldn't find enough offense late, falling 6-5 to the Milwaukee Brewers in the first game of a three-game series. The Brewers have won 10 straight games against Houston.

Lucas Harrell struggled in the start, giving up five earned runs over five innings. Brian Bogusevic went 1-for-4 with a triple, three RBIs and a run scored. Jed Lowrie went 2-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored. Carlos Lee went 3-for-5 with a run scored.

Brewers pitcher Zack Greinke continued his dominance over the Astros, giving up two earned runs over six innings, striking out nine. Trailing 6-2, Houston scored three runs in the top of the seventh, but could only manage one baserunner in the final two innings. The Astros have now lost 10 of their last 13 games.
