The Milwaukee Brewers extended their winning streak against the Houston Astros to 11 games on Tuesday, and with right hander Shaun Marcum taking the hill for the matinee finale Wednesday afternoon, that trend looks to continue. Marcum was 2-0 in three starts against the Astros in 2011, including two scoreless seven inning outings and 1.80 ERA against Houston.
J.A. Happ will get the nod for Houston after taking the loss against the Dodgers in his last outing despite giving up only three runs in six innings. The Astros are looking for timely hitting, as 11 of their 12 losses in 2012 have been by three runs or less, with scoring chances missed late in almost every loss.
