The Houston Astros will turn to Bud Norris to pitch the rubber game of its opening series against the Colorado Rockies. Houston dropped its season opener 5-3 on Friday but bounced back on Saturday with a 7-3 win.
Norris finished 6-11 with a 3.77 ERA in 31 starts last season for the Astros. He will be opposed by Colorado's Juan Nicasio who will be making his first start in about eight months after he was hit in the head with a line drive. Nicasio suffered a fractured skull and a broken vertebrae in his neck but has battled back to be in position to pitch on Sunday.
