Astros Vs. Phillies: Bats Silent Again In 5-1 Series-Opening Loss

The Houston offense continued to struggle on this five-game road trip, as the Astros fell to the Philles 5-1 in the first game of a two-game series.

Lucas Harrell gave up just five hits in the start, but allowed three runs (two earned) in 5 2/3 innings. Carlos Lee went 3-for-4 as the only Astro with multiple hits. Houston's lone run came on a solo shot from pinch-hitter Marwin Gonzalez. It was the first home run of his career.

Freddy Galvis went 3-for-4 with two RBIs to lead Philly. Joe Blanton went seven innings in the start.

Through four games of this road trip, the Astros have scored just six runs, posting a 1-3 record in that span. Houston hasn't scored more than three runs in a game in any of their past eight.
