It used to be a normal occurrence in the MLB, but now it just seems odd: the Houston Astros and Colorado Rockies will play a scheduled day-night doubleheader on Monday.
The first game will see the Astros send Wandy Rodriguez to the mound. He threw six-and-one-third scoreless innings against Colorado on April 6 in his first start. Opposing him will be Juan Nicasio, who in his first start on April 8, allowed just one run over seven innings.
The nightcap figures to be more of a slugfest as Jordan Lyles faces off against Alex White, both of which sport an ERA above five. Carlos Lee has a home run and five RBI against White in five career at-bats.
